We are looking for a motivated and technically experienced Senior Programme Officer to work in the Business, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services programme, who relishes the opportunity to work with the private sector and engage in the development of scientifically rigorous biodiversity management and mitigation approaches for industry. The programme supports the evolving field of business and biodiversity and manages a unique and successful partnership with the extractives industry, providing biodiversity information, data and resources to support the recognition of, and response to, biodiversity in industry development. This role will provide you with the chance to lead the development, resourcing and delivery of a new portfolio of projects to support the global evolution of methodologies and mitigation approaches for managing development impact on biodiversity and associated processes to promote and facilitate implementation.
