POSITION OBJECTIVES

Assist Senior Program Manager in implementing and coordinating budget, grant, administration, and programmatic activities for Conservation Support (CS), Global Initiatives (GI), and Species teams as well as for other supported WCS Global divisions.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide WCS budget and grant expense tracking support to the CS
   Program Manager. Ensure the timely preparation of budgets, budget
   modifications and financial/accounting reports. Handle financial
   paperwork and requests for advances and reimbursements.
 - Help coordinate the preparation and tracking of all sub- 
   contracts and sub-agreements including technical and financial 
   reporting, advances and reimbursements.
-  Coordinate and assist in preparation of annual reports and
   implementation plans for selected grants.
'- Help prepare proposals and construct budgets.
'- Help coordinate reporting to funding sources, including
   government, private donors, foundations, and corporations. Help
   prepare reports and narrative summaries.
'- In conjunction with Administrative Assistants, manage finances
   and logistics for program meetings and workshops.
 - Work within approved budgets, developing and implementing cost-
    saving measures to conserve organizational resources.
 -  Maintain program files, including contract and budget
     information, and data and reports from field projects and program
     partners.
 -  Provide additional operational, programmatic and administrative
    support to WCS Global programs as needed.

Qualifications - External:

 - Bachelor's Degree.
 - Experience in project/financial management, budget development,
   revenue/expense tracking, reporting, and non-profit accounting.

-Excellent organizational skills, including ability to set and 
  follow priorities, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
