Senior Program Design Officer
Location: Preferably Johannesburg, but Lusaka, Zambia, is also possible.
Description: AWF is recruiting for a new Senior Program Design officer to be located in Johannesburg (or Lusaka). The new officer will be responsible for raising funds from government and professional foundation donors, and for all aspects of donor relationship management, for all AWF’s work in its Zambezi and Kazungula Heartlands (includes areas of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia and Botswana) as well as co-responsible for fundraising from specific donors across the whole of AWF’s Program in Africa. This position will work very closely with the other members of the seven-person Program Design team, particularly with the Senior Director for Program Design in Southern Africa, and with the field based implementation teams and AWF’s senior F&A staff.
