Senior Product Manager - Online Systems

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

This Senior Product Manager is in charge of driving online system product delivery buy flow tools for Customers along with buy & install tools Partners including solar layout, proposal generation and install workflow tools including. Environment will be highly agile to achieve market success in line with the company’s growth and profitability objectives. Role will also provide product support capabilities to Sales and Customer Facing Teams and Partners in North America for the residential, commercial and utility-scale market segments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-      Product Requirements & Planning:

• o   Identify and document user personas
• o   Specify use case scenarios on online tools
• o   Define and manage release milestones

 

-      Market and Competitive Analysis:

• o   Identify market problems & requirements
• o   Perform win/loss analysis
• o   Identify and document buyer personas
• o   Pricing, margin and P&L tracking

 

-      Interface with internal and external stakeholders:

• o   Customers
• o   Marketing and sales
• o   Product development
• o   Service operations
• o   Collaboration with other groups for requirements gathering and deployment of new products / services

                                                                                                        

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Director of Product Management. Will have high level of interaction with other departments including Regional Business Units, Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Services and Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ·         3+ years direct experience in Energy or Utility domain
• ·         5+ years direct experience in Product Management or Project Management experience.
• ·         MBA is a strong plus.
• ·         Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• ·         Strong ability to identify and describe business needs.
• ·         Strong analytical skills to decompose problems clearly and identify viable solutions taking schedule, cost and degree of risk into consideration.
• ·         Organized work habits with a record of successful delivery of complex projects as an individual contributor and a team leader.
