Description

IEEP’s Agriculture and Land Management team is looking for a Senior Policy Analyst with a particular expertise on EU bioeconomy, land use and climate policies.

The role is based in our Brussels office and the successful candidate will report to the Bioeconomy Lead in the Programme.

The successful candidate will play an important role within a busy and dynamic team, developing thinking and policy solutions around the interplay between the demands created by the bioeconomy (including bioenergy) and the ability of land to meet those demands. This includes the associated implications for sustainable development, the future of land use and management in Europe, and the delivery of EU and international goals including those on climate, biodiversity and rural development. The post holder will work on the analysis and development of EU policy primarily, but also at international and national level as necessary.
