Description: 3Degrees is seeking a dynamic individual to manage 3Degrees’ partnership with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) promoting PSE’s Green Power Program. This individual will work closely with PSE to plan and execute customer education, outreach, and enrollment drivers for the PSE Green Power Program. This position will also manage green power program marketing and outreach campaigns for other area utilities. 

This is a full-time position requiring program, marketing, relationship, staff, and budget management.
Duties: Program Management: Overall responsibility for managing 3Degrees’ relationship with PSE and the growth of the Green Power Program among residential customers and small to mid-sized businesses. 
Relationship Management:Develop relationship and work closely with PSE staff working directly and indirectly with the Green Power Program. Develop a positive long-term relationship through a commitment to quality work products, timeliness, and attention to detail.
Marketing Management: Oversee multi-channel marketing efforts from conception to execution including targeted community outreach, direct mail, bill inserts, online marketing, newsletters, etc. Apply understanding of marketing concepts, customer demographics, marketing communication vehicles, and renewable energy to design and execute an effective annual marketing plan. 
Staff Management: Manage a team of two to three talented Associates who have responsibility for production of marketing materials and outreach execution and field team management (field team consists of 3 Outreach Coordinators at least ten part-time Outreach Associates). Ability and desire to foster a healthy work environment and mentor a staff of committed individuals. 
Budget planning and management: Develop and then manage an annual budget required to deploy the marketing plan.
Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • 4 year college degree; advanced degree in business administration, marketing or related field welcomed
  • 5-10 years’ experience in marketing, program or project management, and client interfacing roles; understanding of utility business encouraged
  • Demonstrated commitment to the environment
  • Excellent professional communication skills; listening, verbal & written
  • Budget management experience
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of or experience in business-to-business sales
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, and PPT.

    DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Knowledge of renewable energy, especially voluntary renewable energy certificate programs, climate protection, and conservation
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Flexibility to either work from home or a small local office
  • Willingness to “do everything” from small office tasks to budgeting and program oversight
  • Understanding of Washington demographics and residential customer motivations for enrolling in a voluntary, additional-cost renewable energy program
