Our software solutions are built with state of the art technologies and require you to be on top of the latest industry trends in SaaS. We are in the process of architecting and developing a cutting edge Analytics solution for customers on our SaaS platform. You will be the Senior DBA to design, deploy and maintain Oracle 11g EE and SE. You will work hand in hand with product management, quality management and technical operations to deliver our software solutions.
Preferred Skills and Experience
7+ years of in-depth experience in Oracle DB (11g EE preferred) with expertise in:
- Installing, configuring, applying patches, and setting up security
- Tuning Database, SQL Queries and PL/SQL Procedures
- Creating and Managing Table Spaces, Tables, Views, Mat Views, Indexes, and Partitions
- Writing PL/SQL triggers, procedures, and functions
- Designing and managing logs, back-ups using RMAN
- High availability using rack and cluster configurations
- Development / implementation of SQL*Loader, ASM, Data Pump, Data Guard, Flashbacks
- Optimize the query result cache for best performance
- Ability to manage multiple instances, architecture multiple deployments in Dev/QA/Stage/Production
- Sound knowledge of Relational schema
- Knowledge of Dimensional schema and OLAP preferred
- Experience in managing large data volume in a multi-tenant SaaS a definite plus
- 2+ years of experience as an Oracle developer strongly preferred
- 2+ years of proven track record of delivering innovative enterprise products on tight schedules
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
- Ability to lead and advice and be a team player
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
