To provide technical guidance and project direction when appropriate. To make an active contribution to project work which is expected to include: report writing, organisation of data collecting, (within personal areas of specialism), data and literature review, development of monitoring programmes, etc. To lead and assist with proposal and contract preparation (client and subcontractors). To contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives that deliver with the overall business development plan and develop a client list. To represent and promote Royal Haskoning within the environmental market through the e??W?veral projects being managed and/or supported simultaneously. Demonstrable working knowledge of EIA Regulations and process, the Town and Country Planning Act application process, the onshore wind industry and best practice will be essential.
The post will mainly involve UK projects, however there may be some international opportunities. | Job description | To ‘project manage’ the delivery and management of medium to large onshore wind EIA projects and project teams, along with EIAs for other development types as required. To provide technical guidance and project direction when appropriate. To make an active contribution to project work which is expected to include: report writing, organisation of data collecting, (within personal areas of specialism), data and literature review, development of monitoring programmes, etc. To lead and assist with proposal and contract preparation (client and subcontractors). To contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives that deliver with the overall business development plan and develop a client list. To represent and promote Royal Haskoning within the environmental market through the preparation of literature, attending meetings, conferences and workshops, etc. | Your qualifications and experience | It will be desirable for the candidate to demonstrate a good network and knowledge within the onshore wind industry. Potential opportunities to generate new work will be pursued through prior agreement with the Advice Group Director and Product Market Champions. Key competencies in this role will include:

Qualifications and Experience:
BSc (essential) and MSc (desirable) in a related discipline. Experience in environmental consultancy (essential). Demonstrable experience in project management and EIA (essential) Demonstrable experience in project management of onshore wind EIA (essential). Thorough understanding of environmental law, the EIA process, and relevant government policy (essential). Excellent understanding of the onshore wind energy industry and related environmental issues (essential). Technical background in one or more environmental parameters (essential). IEMA or IEEM membership or chartered status (desirable) Financial management and administration experience (essential). Report-writing and presentational skills (essential). Experience of managing medium-large project teams (desirable). Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills (essential).
