Description

Join Britain’s biggest walking charity to help more people enjoy the benefits of walking.  The Ramblers is looking to recruit an exceptional individual to lead on the development and delivery of a portfolio of income streams within the individual giving scope.

 

Operating in a senior fundraising position within the Engagement team, you will play a crucial role in establishing the strategic direction of individual giving for the Ramblers and be responsible for maximising income from DM fundraising appeals and legacies.

Essential Requirements include:

  • Demonstrable experience of developing successful indivdual giving strategies

  • Experience of devising, developing and successfully managing a range of direct marketing campaigns  including warm, acquisition and legacies

  • Ability to manage budgets (income and expenditure) effectively

  • Ability to share ideas and communicate both within and across teams and organisations to achieve results, particularly with other teams involved in supporter engagement.

  • Strong team player with ability to work effectively with both internal colleagues and third party contacts and suppliers.

  • Excellent DM fundraising writing skills

  • Highly numerate and able to work with data and analyse campaign information accurately and effectively.

  • Empathy with the Ramblers’ values.
