Senior Manager
You will have day-to-day responsibility for leading key aspects of offshore transmission policy. This may include the Integrated Transmission Planning and Regulation project, in particular analysing the key boundaries and interactions between the current multiple regimes covering transmission regulation. In the shorter term, this will focus on boundary issues between onshore and offshore regimes and will require working actively with other internal teams to gain support and develop common policy positions. Developing offshore co-ordination proposals and implementing the proposed changes to the offshore regime, you will facilitate co-ordinated networks offshore and work closely with the National Grid in developing transmission charging arrangements for integrated offshore transmission.
You will contribute to strategic management of the co-ordination team and to wider offshore policy developments, including the development of the enduring OFTO tender regime and Energy Bill changes.
