Summary

Sunpower Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Operations for the America’s Utility & Commercial group, whose primary objective will be to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the Sales organization. The Senior Manager will support Senior Management to manage and synchronize the business unit, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales enablement. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Work with U&C Leadership Team to create & implement sales initiatives aligned with key corporate strategies.
- Interface closely with cross-functional support groups, including Marketing, Project Finance, Project Management, Design, IT, and FP&A to ensure alignment with sales strategies
- Analyze sales pipeline to measure performance relative to targets (revenue, margin, quota) and forecast (product mix, geography, delivery timing).
- Establish performance measures to track progress of specific initiatives, sales cycles, project development spends, marketing campaigns, and margin performance.
- Continually assess and re-design key internal procedures related to sales activities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, and profitability.
- Identify, highlight and communicate best practices to build overall sales effectiveness
- Continuously improve Sales Tools including CRM, Proposal tools, pro-formas, etc.
- Participate in sales commission plan design & quota assignment to increase sales team effectiveness.

Qualifications 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent. An MBA is a plus.
- 2-5 years in operations role, preferably for multi-million dollar capital projects having long and complex sales cycles.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communications, and written communications skills
- Expert with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel , Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
- Relentless personal initiative; entrepreneurial nature within broad framework of company policies 
- Must be a strong leader, possessing project management & planning skills
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
