Description

Are you excited about sustainable agriculture and creating solutions through partnerships with leading brands, producers, and donors?

Bonsucro is recruiting a passionate advocate for sustainable development and agriculture who is capable of recruiting leading companies to join and participate in the global sustainable sugarcane platform.

This post reports to the Director of Impact Partnerships; responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing brand, investor and donor relationships. You will be responsible for securing tangible support from brand procurement teams (procuring sustainable product) as well as from CSR teams, foundations and institutional donors.  The post will work closely with the whole global team; coordinating us to be effective at business development and working with us to develop fundable propositions.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, a passion for sustainability, and already has relevant experience in account management and/ or business development with brands and donors.  You understand sales, business development, and account management processes and seek that next challenge in your career – where you can hone your skills, make your mark with small but truly global organisation, and know that you are truly making a difference.

Note:  The role level (manager or senior) will depend on the level of experience you bring.  We are open to candidates either relatively early in their careers, or who are already proven, senior business development professionals.

The employee might be required to undertake such other tasks and responsibilities as may be directed, from time to time, by their line manager which are consistent with the nature of the job described above.
