An Environmental Consultancy seeks a Senior Manager, to lead the Environmental Assurance Team in services related to marine EIA’s and consenting for major infrastructure development projects. Oil and gas industry experience with UKCS environmental expertise is required, with knowledge in the marine and coastal side of the business. Must be skilled in risk assessments, environmental risk identification, baseline surveys, marine EIA’s, Environmental Statements, Petroleum Operations Notices, Oil Pollution Emergency Plans and PPC/OPPC applications. Principal tasks include managing and monitoring the Environmental Assurance Team, liaison with clients to identify and agree all project requirements (e.g. technical and commercial), to ensure technical deliverables. Must have oil and gas industry experience with the ability to manage environmental projects and risk. The successful candidate will have a relevant technical or environmental degree, at least 10 years experience of environmental risk and impact consultancy, particularly in the marine and coastal environments, experience of HSE and UKCS project/program management with understanding and experience of environmental issues and legislation and excellent technical and commercial acumen.
