ICF International is seeking to hire an outstanding senior-level manager with responsibilities for business development, management, and growth in the area of life-cycle assessment and carbon management throughout the supply chain. ICF works with public and private sector clients including some of the most recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations. We have decades of experience working on various aspects of the climate change issue. Using life-cycle inventory expertise, our team provides solutions that relate to energy use, material choices, waste disposal, and greenhouse gas emissions. ICF International seeks to expand its offerings in this area.

Your central role as senior-level manager in our Energy & Resources practice will be to develop business and grow the area of life-cycle assessment and carbon management throughout the supply chain. This position will be based in either Fairfax, VA or Washington, DC. In this role, you will:

  • Develop, market, and manage expanded offerings in life-cycle assessment, supply chain management, and carbon management to government agencies (at the local, U.S., and international levels) and private sector clients
  • Apply your strong technical credentials to design and expand ICF’s reach in identifying and quantifying greenhouse gas reduction efforts across the supply chain
  • Use your business development skills to develop related marketing plans, collateral, and programs
  • Maintain a working knowledge of ICF projects related to material and product life-cycle assessment and carbon management
  • Spearhead marketing efforts and cross-collaboration to strengthen our service offerings and leverage ICF expertise in this important area
  • Have a national and international perspective on life-cycle assessments
  • Manage projects to high standards of client satisfaction, technical quality, and profitability.

The LCA senior-level manager will have an advanced degree plus demonstrated and sustained expertise in assessing climate change impacts and solutions that involve life-cycle thinking and assessment and supply chain management. You must thrive in working collaboratively and communicating effectively within teams. You should have a strong reputation and connections in the industrial ecology and/or carbon management community (e.g., academics, non-governmental organizations, consultants, government officials). You should have demonstrated success in winning contracts/grants and leading projects.
