Senior Manager, Grid Interconnections, Krakow, Poland

My client is a leading wind energy developer, providing clean energy to utilities and large energy users. They build, develop, finance and operate  large scale power plants and have a strong market presence across Europe.

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Grid Interconnections manages personnel, handles all technical aspects on site and is responsible for the grid interconnections. The Senior Manager, Grid Interconnections is instrumental in shaping the policies and procedures and works to continuously improve the department and company deliverables. The Senior Manager, Grid Interconnections functions as a technical expert and resource for region in which they manage the engineering department

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Prepare preliminary design for the connection of the wind farm to the power grid
• ·         Analysis of the wind farms potential capability and estimated yield
• ·         Preparation of feasibility reports outlining estimated return to investors
• ·         Prepare precise documentation for process procedures associated with construction. 
• ·         Preliminary site analysis
• ·         Coordination of initial grid connection

Education:-

• ·         Must have strong engineering background (degree in the area of electrical engineering preferred )

Core Requirements:-

• ·         Must have previous Grid Interconnections Experience on wind farms
• ·         Must be fluent in Polish
• ·         Electrical and Technical background
• ·         Proficiency in drafting and AutoCAD Software
• ·         Familiarity with construction and civil codes
• ·         Demonstrated experience leading site design activities
