Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer

A dynamic and challenging role, the Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer will primarily be responsible for the following:

1. Design and design review of Infrastructure projects including Roads, Highways, Freeways, Traffic, Pedestrian Ramps, Bike Paths, Utilities, Drainage, Storm Water System, Water Supply System, etc.

2. Leading the Infrastructure design project teams to develop design solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner whilst complying with the requirements of stakeholders.

3. Attending the project related meetings/workshops and presentations before the client/developer/government agencies as and when required.

4· Guide the subordinates from concept to detailed design, issue for tender, issue for construction drawings stages of the projects.

5· Facilitate the effectual integration of various Engineering elements into unified design for client’s and statutory authorities’ review and approvals.

6· Respond to RfI (Requests for Information) from the contractors at construction tender stage

7· Examine and approve/disapprove the submittals of contractor taking into consideration the agreed specifications.

8· Assist the senior management to respond to RfP (Requests for Proposal) from the Clients.

9· Preparation of detailed list of project deliverables and requirement of resources at consultancy proposal/tender stage and upon award of the projects.

Educational Qualifications/Experience

-  Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

-  At least 15 years professional experience in Infrastructure design in a consultancy environment

-  At least 3 years GCC experience with reputed international firms

-  Proficiency in AutoCAD and other specialized techniques/tools/softwares related to Infrastructure design

Desirable:

·         Masters Degree in Civil Engineering

·         Familiarity with the codes and practices of GCC

·         LEED- AP/ QSAS- CGP

·         Sufficient knowledge of LEED/QSAS requirements related to Infrastructure design

·         Memberships of reputed relevant international professional organizations
