Our client is an International Environmental Management, Project Management and Engineering consultancy with over 6,000 staff world-wide. Its expanding workload in groundwater resources and contaminated land related work means that we are actively recruiting to support our growing team specialising in these areas. It is seeking energetic and innovative staff that can deliver our solution-oriented services to existing and new clients.
As a Senior Consultant you are likely to have an MSc with strong post graduate experience or a PhD with post graduate experience of hydrogeology and groundwater resources, including application of models such as MODFLOW or similar. Candidates need to demonstrate experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and in providing technical input to hydrogeological & environmental assessments. Experience of working in Consultancy, Environment Agency, SEPA or Water Companies would be considered an advantage. The position is primarily in support of UK clients but support to international projects is required from time to time. The role may include significant time in client offices or undertaking field investigations, but will primarily be based in either High Wycombe or Solihull.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate skills in site activities, factual and interpretative reporting, data management and analysis and presentation of results. The individual will be expected to demonstrate an ability to produce high quality oral and written communications. Good time management and presentation skills and a flexible attitude are also essential to work within our busy and dynamic team. As a Senior Consultant you will be familiar with the regulatory, business and policy environment in which its clients operate, and have the capacity to develop and maintain long term relationships with its clients. You will also have experience of technical management of projects and teams, and an interest in developing the skills of junior staff colleagues.
This position offers the potential for experience in a wide range of hydrogeological projects and the potential for strong career growth for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates in a strategic growth area for this company. This is an employee owned company that offers highly attractive employment packages and a strong ethos of staff training and development.
