A well known consultancy with a large number of UK offices is looking for a technical professional to perform both technical and commercial duties within its Aberdeen consultancy. This office already has a well developed workflow in other areas but it is looking for an individual to develop and maximise the capabilities of the Health & Safety Team in the Aberdeen office. The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality professional services, client and team management and identifying and developing new business opportunities.  As strong commercial background combined with technical expertise is required.
Main duties:
- To provide high level health and safety consultancy advice to a wide range of private and public sector clients.
- To possess an understanding of the other core business areas of the Aberdeen office.
- To match business opportunities with the combined core consultancy services to ensure maximum utilisation and profitability.
- To ensure that all work is effectively project managed within strict timescales and budget.
- To possess effective people management skills, both in terms of client relationships and people management
- To identify new and retain repeat business opportunities for the Aberdeen office.
- To be an enthusiastic team member and be committed to delivering high levels of customer care.
- To communicate, both verbally and in writing and be able to operate at a wide range of professional levels.
You will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a scientific background and be a member of a relevant professional body. You must be NEBOSH qualified to certificate or diploma  level (or equivalent) 
Personal attributes will include the ability to follow through and close the deal, determination, enthusiasm, the ability to work as part of a professional team and the ability to work in an organised and planned way.
