Senior Home Energy Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join us to set up and develop our new Home Energy Service.

You will manage a caseload of customers and support one team member on day-to-day basis and performance manage them at an informal level.

You will be one of two champions who raises awareness of fuel poverty and energy efficiency across Alliance Homes and to our customers.

You will offer energy advice and support, helping our customers make informed decisions which in turn will help to reduce disrepair issues such as damp and mould, and promote better use of domestic energy. This will help our customers have warmer, healthier homes, better living conditions and the ability to manage their energy bills.

This is an important role, which will help truly make the difference in this current climate.

About you:

You will have supervised colleagues before or be able to demonstrate your capability to do so.

You will have worked with people experiencing financial or social disadvantage previously and have a working knowledge of fuel poverty and energy debt issues and solutions.

You will have an understanding of welfare benefits and be able to train/raise awareness of energy related topics with colleagues.

You will love to support people and be genuinely empathetic with a can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will also be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check. Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence with your access to your own car is required.
