A superb opportunity has recently arisen for a geotechnical professional to join an award-winning international consultancy. This appointment offers work on challenging and interesting projects with excellent career development prospects. This role will be based in one of the geotechnical design teams providing support on road, rail, property, environment and other projects. You will be producing technical reports, documents and letters relating to geotechnical jobs and using software tools to produce project documentation. You will also be expected to coach and mentor other team members, project manage and deliver technical projects with the minimum of supervision. You should be a chartered engineer with a BSc in applied Geology or related discipline, ideally with an MSc and civils background with proven experience of Geotechnical Design. You must have computer programme knowledge and an interest/experience in business development. You will need good communication skills along with the ability to lead a design team and liaise with clients. Wide knowledge of current design standards, specialist processes and state of the art investigation techniques is essential. You should hold PTS and a driving licence.
