Description

We are at a pivotal moment: the climate and biodiversity crises are deepening, and inequalities are even more marked in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. The global investment system has an oversized impact on many of these global challenges. We want to make sure that impact is positive. At ShareAction we work with investors, policymakers and individuals to unleash the positive potential of the investment system. We aim to build a world where our financial system serves our planet and its people.

Team

ShareAction is widely recognised as a thought leader in the field of responsible investment (RI). The organisation has grown rapidly in the last three years, more than doubling in size, and expanding our impact and reach significantly. With this growth comes the exciting challenge of managing our increasing number of high value funding partnerships while continuing to grow.

Our Fundraising Team is formed of several fundraising strands, an established grants programme, a digital fundraising stream raising income from the public, and a philanthropy team working with individuals.

We have secured several large, strategic, multiyear partnerships with key Trusts and Foundations, which are enabling us to deliver on our ambitious goals. We are therefore establishing a new, dedicated Senior Fundraising Manager position to expertly cultivate and steward these crucial partnerships, and help to secure new funding opportunities.

  • Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyse grant-related data, providing insights to optimise strategy, maximise performance, manage risks, and inform future proposals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, and provide leadership to guide and steer fundraising efforts and ensure an effective and joined up approach. Participate in internal working groups on organisation-wide initiatives.
  • Business Partnering: Act as fundraising business partner for key delivery teams, steering and supporting their grant fundraising efforts.
