Senior Fisheries Biologist

Sequence is seeking a Senior Fisheries Biologist to lead a portfolio of fisheries and habitat restoration projects throughout Northern California.

The ideal individual would have a minimum of 8+ years of experience leading the technical direction of projects involving freshwater and anadromous fisheries species. Must have experience to lead project teams, conduct field studies, information research and technical analysis of impacts. This would include developing conservation measures and preparing CEQA / NEPA compliance documentation as related to the endangered species act and other state and federal regulations.

Additional responsibilities will include conducting client relations / business development activities, formulating project scopes of work, proposals, budgets, client presentations, and staff mentoring on a daily basis.

Requires a bachelors degree in Biology, or related discipline. MS / PHD in Fisheries Biology is desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
