Senior Fellow in the Environmental Governance Programme

The Institute has a vacancy for a Senior Fellow to work closely with the Head of IEEP’s Environmental Governance programme. The post involves playing a key role in work on the main areas identified below, and making a particular contribution in at least one of these areas. We are looking for someone who can contribute at a strategic level to the development of European environmental and sustainable development policy, through programme and project development, fundraising and research, as well as political advice and advocacy. In close cooperation with the Head of the programme, the post holder will be expected to provide support and guidance to the team of researchers within the programme, with a priority on effective team working based on a commitment to the continued professional development of individual staff.

This is a permanent post (subject to a one-year probationary period) and the successful candidate will be based at either IEEP’s headquarters in central London or in the office in central Brussels, with the possibility to alternate between offices. The post holder will work closely with a number of IEEP London and Brussels staff with a range of sectoral expertise and report to Marc Pallemaerts, Head of the Environmental Governance programme.

Salary scale: Senior Fellow. £36,000 - £47,000
