Within our Environmental Management Services department in Ghent, we’re currently looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant.
As a Senior Environmental Consultant you’ll have a leading role in different kinds of projects : Environmental Health & Safety Due Diligence and Transactions Assessments, Strategic and Operational Environmental Health & Safety, Permitting, Environmental Health & Safety Management Services, Technical investigations, Corporate Social Responsibility projects, etc
- You will be managing consultancy projects across the Flemish region as well as international environmental projects.
- You will be in close contact with our clients to whom you will report on a regular basis.
- You will support & coach junior staff members.
- You will assist the Manager Environmental Management Services as well as the Business Development Manager to ensure further growth and development of the division and URS in general. Requirements - You have a master’s degree in Engineering, Science or Applied Science (preferably Bio-Engineer, Civil Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Chemist)
- You have at least 7-10 years of experience in environmental management; either built up within a consulting environment or within an industrial environment.
- A specialized experience in Energy Audit & Management, Health & Safety Management, Process Safety Management, CSR or Wastewater Management is an asset
- You are a native Dutch speaker and speak and write fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
- You have strong coaching skills and ability to manage clients.
- You are considered as good communicator, can work in team and are result-oriented.
