The Environment Protection Officer is accountable to the Manager, Waste to Resources for assisting with the provision of advice regarding, and the administration of, the statutory requirements of the Environment Protection Act. The Officer will have a specific role in relation to waste management matters, but not to the exclusion of other disciplines, and will contribute to the development, management and maintenance of specialist projects, programs, strategies and policies where required.
