We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer/Sustainability Consultant to work in the northern region of the UK with the opportunity to be based in Manchester or Leeds.
Our Group in the northern region is a small but busy team of specialist sustainability consultants working on a wide range of sustainable design projects on a national and international scale.
The successful applicant will have an engineering degree, ideally with experience in the following:
- Low carbon design and performance analysis
- Energy efficiency
- Energy mapping
- EPCs
- Energy surveys
- Thermal modelling
- BREEAM Assessments
In addition to:
- Knowledge of building simulation techniques (IES, CFD, etc);
- Experience producing detailed design calculations and preparation of design drawings, specifications and information;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of working with consulting design teams;
- The ability to work and manage their own projects, develop client relationships and maintain a high quality of deliverables;
- Experience of practical training of graduate and technician engineers.
- Chartered Engineer would be advantageous
The ideal candidate must be a strong team player and have a demonstrable track record in this respect.
