Description

We currently have a vacancy in our Enhancements, Engineering and Asset Management (EEAM) team for an Engineer or environmental specialist with significant experience of working with large infrastructure owners in the field of environment and sustainable development.

This role will support our holding to account work particularly in the areas of decarbonisation, biodiversity, weather resilience and climate change adaptation. You will use your own experience to evaluate stakeholder strategies and policies, monitor key performance indicators, lead engagement with stakeholders and lead development of training of the wider ORR EEAM team.

There will be a number of interesting challenges ahead for the team including monitoring Network Rail in a devolved environment and working with the wider railway industry to deliver the goals of the different Government stakeholders in these areas.

You will report to the Principal Engineer, Asset Management, and will be expected to work with colleagues across ORR and the industry. The job can be delivered from any of our offices but is likely to involve meetings in London, with Network Rail regional business and stakeholders nationally (under normal working arrangements).

Apply HERE before 11:55 pm on Sunday 11th April 2021.
