Senior Engineer – Water, Drainage and Waste

Wec are looking for a Senior Engineer – Water, Drainage and Water Waste

Job Purpose:

This person will perform project management duties and will lead/supervise project teams in the planning, design, and construction administration of drainage, water and wastewater infrastructure facilities, to include pump stations, pipelines and treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

-              Plans, directs and supervises all engineering activities to operate and maintain Drainage (Plants, Installations, facilities, control room and associated systems)

-              Independently develops methods and solutions for engineering problems related to Water and Drainage Infrastructure.

-              Will be involved in the analysis and resolution of challenges that may include overseeing field investigation or inspections and detailed design work.

-              Development of work plans (scope, schedule, and budget) and supervision of other team members.

-              Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project.

-              Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.

-              Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analysis within one discipline.

Skills:

-              At least 7 years experience in drainage, water and water waste works from a reputable Engineering or Design and Construction Supervision Firm.

-              Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.

-              Demonstrated project management experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities.

-              Experience monitoring and supervising other engineering professionals.

-              Computer literate

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
