Senior Energy & Sustainability Engineer/Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a senior leader for our engineering practice. The successful candidate is on track for a Principal or Director level and will be tasked to lead and deliver key and decisive advisory primarily to our real estate clients. 
S/he will be an integral part of our expanding team and s/he will be fully responsible for planning, executing and delivering consulting projects from the proposal stage through completion.

Qualifications:

• At minimum 6+ years of related work experience
• Extensive knowledge of building science and energy modeling for both new construction and existing facilities
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, physics or other quantitative science
• PE registration strongly preferred
• Ability to quickly assess new technologies
• Strong interest for sustainability
• Desire and capability to supervise and lead personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills 
• CEM, BEAP, BEMP, CPMP, LEED AP appreciated

Candidates need to demonstrate experience in several of these areas:

• Energy Modeling and Simulation (eQuest and/or Energy Plus)
• High Performance Building Design and/or LEED Certification
• Industrial Process Efficiency
• Building Audit and Commissioning/Retro-Commissioning Services 
• Sustainable Design and Operations
