URS is a global leading provider of engineering design and environmental consultancy services, operating in over 34 countries. URS has two offices in Belgium and our Leuven office is currently recruiting a Senior Consultant in the field of Environmental Health & Safety. You will be responsible for managing and/or directing Environmental Health & Safety Due Diligence and Transactions Assessments, Strategic and Operational Environmental Health & Safety assignments and H&S management projects. Tasks could include co-ordinating project teams, visiting sites to offer technical input, coaching junior staff and overseeing the provision of reports and solutions to clients and developing the EHS offering in Belgium by developing relationships with new potential clients. You have a master’s degree in Engineering, Science or Applied Science and a senior, proven track record in providing EHS services in Belgium, with a sound knowledge of relevant legislation. Experience in a consultancy is preferred although exceptional individuals working in industry may also be considered. You will also have excellent spoken and written communication skills in both Dutch and English. In return, excellent prospects and benefits are on offer.
