SES now have long term relationships with many of the leading developer and infrastructure providers in the UK and have extended our services to include a dedicated rail team, Arboriculture consultancy and contracting services and a natural wildlife focused landscaping team.

Our personalised and professional ecology consultancy business underpins everything we do and SES. We are looking for experienced ecologists that take the same pragmatic approach that we do when providing solutions to our customers. We would particularly like to hear from Senior Ecologists that have more than 4 years’ experience in a consultancy environment with experience in the development and or infrastructure sectors. If you are used to running your own projects, producing the highest quality reports and leading and mentoring colleagues then this would be the perfect role for you.

Arboricultural Consultants
We are looking for arboricultural consultants to join our growing team providing the high level service we are renowned for. We cover a wide discipline of work within arboriculture and successful candidates can expect to be working on a range of projects from the initial surveys to reporting and project management. The work we offer is diverse allowing candidates to grow within the business and get be involved in arboriculture ad tree management at all levels.
Some of the work successful candidates will cover are
• Surveys for planning and BS5837 reports
• Tree condition surveys and reporting
• Insurance surveys, technical site data evaluation, and reporting
• Chlorophyll Fluorescence Testing of tree stock
• Woodland management
• Rail infrastructure and planning surveys.
• Upskill and cross working with ecology and the habitats team
Full training will be given.

In addition you will receive a laptop, phone, tablet for surveying and all associated kit to undertake your role. You will have a training programme to develop your career and other company benefits.

Requirements summary of requirements below.
• Essential
o Full driving licence
o It and technology literate
o Level 4 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience with a level 3 qualification
o Experience of surveying trees and data capture (planning and tree condition)

• Desirable
o Cad training
o Detailed understanding of the planning system and trees and the law.
o Project management
