We are currently seeking an ambitious consultant at Senior level, to join our clients expanding Environmental Due Diligence Team in London.

The Job

Our client is one of the leading environmental consultancies providing transactional support to banks, private equity, real estate, infrastructure funds and blue chip clients.

They offer a variety of services including ESG strategic and implementation support as well as Environmental, ESG and Technical Due Diligence as part of transactional activity.

You will be involved in real projects from day one, with exposure to some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and Internationally.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in a relevant Environmental discipline, with an applied Masters Degree in a related subject (e.g. earth science/environmental law) being a distinct advantage.

Successful candidates will be confident and self-motivated and expected to demonstrate experience of working on both real estate and corporate environmental due diligence related projects.

You will also have strong project management skills and have a track record of good client relationship care and business development showing the ability to win repeat business by performing well on projects and developing new client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities will also be required.

Person Specification

•Degree qualified in a relevant environmental discipline.

•Good understanding of environmental legislation

•Track record of delivering environmental due diligence within the financial sector.

•Shall have a good understanding of commercial issues.

•Have the drive and self-motivation to continuously develop your skills

•Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and to be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.

•Ability to apply technical knowledge in analysing problems and creating solutions

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail

•Ability to work on your own initiative and motivate others

•Be reliable and have a responsible attitude to work

•Other language skills would be an advantage

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•To work as part of a team delivering high quality environmental due diligence support reporting to an Associate/Technical Director

•Project Management

•Mentoring of more junior members of staff

•Business development/Client relationship care

•To keep abreast of industry best practice and new developments in own area of technical expertise
