RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Design and execute a fundraising strategy which includes direct donor solicitation and stewardship through face-to-face meetings, group presentations, written materials and cultivation events through working with CI staff in China, US, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, and other CI regional program staff
  • Establishing relationships and alliances with all sectors of philanthropy including the engagement of the private business sector, governments, foundations, high net worth individuals, multi and bi-laterals, and others.
  • Responsible for achieving short-term and long-term fundraising goals, specifically solicitations ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000 annually and multi-year commitments in support of CI
  • Establish relationships and alliances with all sectors of philanthropy including the engagement of the private business sector, governments, foundations, high net worth individuals, multi and bi-laterals, and others.
  • The principle fundraising will be focused in Singapore however there is the expectation that the Director will work to develop and interact with a regional portofio in East and Southeast Asia by coordinating with other CI staff and volunteers to manage existing and develop new donors and prospects
  • Manages a portfolio of approximately 100 major donors and prospects
Working Conditions:
  • This position will have to travel between 25-40% of its time
  • Skill to build relations and lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years experience
