Senior Director Business Development (Wind)

The wind power market is growing within SEA as it slows elsewhere. Taking this opportunity, a solid player in the international wind development market is expanding their regional team. This Director of Business Development is a critical role to work with the CEO on expansion of the wind marketing in SEA.

Responsibilities:
- Driving top-level business development in Thailand and the surrounding region, the Director of business development is the key driver for the pursuit and win of wind power development projects.
- The Director of Business Development will maintain and further expand key relationships in the region to ensure front-row position on upcoming and potential wind power projects.
- Driving new business is key together with ensuring the cross-functional teams are working together with targets and that realistic, achievable solutions are provided to clients.

Core Requirements:
- Due to the seniority and profile of this role a solid background in the wind power industry is assumed. Top-level connections in Thailand and throughout SEA is a must. At least 5 years wind development project sales experience is assumed.
- As this role is based in Thailand, fluency in Thai / local residence or citizenship is a major benefit. Due to the scarcity of this talent globally, the role is open to all nationalities with relevant SEA Wind experience.
