The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is a policy research organisation that provides expertise and leadership in researching and achieving sustainable development at local, national, regional and global levels. In alliance with others, we are helping to tackle the biggest issues of our times – from climate change and cities to the pressures on natural resources and the forces shaping global markets. The Climate Change Group aims to build partnerships and capacity, and support wise decision-making for a fair global climate change regime, and to promote adaptation on the ground in vulnerable developing countries. The Climate Change Group are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible coordinator with a good understanding of the issues involved in sustainable development. The postholder will be responsible for managing project budgets and managing relationships with external partners at local, national and international level. They will oversee donor contracts and keep track of contract milestones. To succeed in this role you must have project management, administrative and financial experience and excellent knowledge and experience of business software. You will also have some experience in event administration and coordination of travel arrangements.
