A superb opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading waste management consultancy teams to provide technical advice to both the public and private sectors. This is an excellent chance to be involved in a wide range of exciting and cutting edge projects. Projects will include waste contract procurement technical advice, waste collection, recycling and disposal projects and the development and delivery of a wide range of new waste management infrastructure. You will lead a small team to ensure the delivery of projects within programme and budget to the clients’ satisfaction. In addition you will also be involved in business development and the compilation of bids and proposals. You will hold a Bachelors degree in Science, preferably along with a Masters in Waste Management or a related discipline. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of dealing with waste strategy, contract procurement, legislation and treatment issues. Ideally you will have experience of working in a consultancy environment, but experience gained with a local authority or waste contractor will be considered. A valid UK driving licence is also required. |
