(Senior) Consultant Renewable Energy

 Ecofys  possesses an extensive  and long-time experience in political consulting, energy efficiency and climate politcs and delivers strategic consultancy. The international Policy Design and Evaluation supports public and private players in the development, analysis and evaluation of energy political instruments and strategies. Innovative and foresighted legislation are the key to an effective and cost-effective advancement of energy efficiency.

As a Consultant Renewable Energy, you will provide consultancy services to government bodies and organisations. Your main tasks will include the execution of consultancy and applied research projects for energy and climate policy topics. You will participate in proposal preparations for public and private tenders and and develop our business in the area of renewable energies continuously.

 Your Profile

If you are enthusiastic about the job described above and you meet the following criteria, then we would be happy to meet you! 

• University education in energy economics (diploma or master), Ph.D in the relevant field
• At least 3-5 years proven record of qualification and professional experience in qualitative  and quantitative analysis and assessment of political instruments and frameworks
• Excellent comprehension of political processes at national and European levels as well as advanced knowledge of      corresponding institutions and protagonists and their structures
• Knowledge of related topics and European transport policy or other emission relevant political fields, international climate policy instruments, emission trading and whatnot would be an advantage
• Structured and service oriented work style, also while being pressed for time
• Strong acquisition and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in winning and managing projects
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills     
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent business German and English 
• Good knowledge of a third language, preferentially French
• Willingness to travel national and international
