My client is a market leader throughout the world in CDM consulting. They have operations in Asia, Europe and South America covering CDM and JI projects. They utilise a variety of carbon offsetting techniques in order to provide the highest quality and most effective results for their high profile clients. Along with endeavouring to reduce the level of carbon emissions through the development of projects throughout the world that will offset the harm that is currently been caused to our environment.

Position Overview:

My client is looking for a senior CDM consultant to travel internationally and coordinate global consulting activities including coaching regional directors on regional consulting mandates. You will report directly to the CEO and travel extensively on an international level.

Key Responsibilities

• ·         You will work closely with the CEO and senior management in order to develop key strategies regarding my clients consulting activities
• ·         You will be responsible for the European consultants within the company and lead the growth of the company from this positions
• ·         This role will involve working across Europe with other senior consultants to coordinate strategies for my client and there leading clients
• ·         This role will lead to further opportunities within the company and the chance to become one of the key players within this multinational company and have an input into the future growth of the company
• ·         You will coordinate global consulting activities

Education:

You will have a relevant degree in environmental science/engineering or environmental management

Core Requirements:-

• ·         A strong background working in a consultant role and a passion for the environmental sector
• ·         Experience working with and liaising and negotiating with a variety of clients and investors involved in the projects
• ·         5-10 years working in a consultant  position within the environmental and preferably CDM sector
• ·         A strong understanding of CDM projects and experience working as senior consultant in this area
• ·         Strong level of ambition in a desire to progress within a role
• ·         Exceptional management skills

General requirements

• ·         Ability to travel throughout Europe and the rest of the world
• ·         A technical background in CDM projects
• ·         Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
• ·         A keen interest in the  CDM and a desire to see it progress and be part of its expansion in Europe

Key Skills: CDM project consultancy experience, negotiating and training experience and strong abilities in leading a team of consultants
