An exciting chance has recently arisen to join one of the UK’s leading environmental consultancies. It is currently seeking an experienced individual to project manage, technically deliver and client manage land contamination projects.
This position offers the chance to be closely involved in a wide range of projects ranging from desk studies through to remediation for various drivers including Part 2A, due diligence/property transactions, EIA and EP. You will be required to manage site investigations to provide information required for human health and controlled waters risk assessments.
A relevant science based Bachelors degree is essential, preferably along with a Masters in an environmental science/engineering subject including land contamination risk assessments. You will need to have demonstrable experience of report writing, dealing with clients, regulator liaison, mentoring junior staff and a track record of successful project management. In addition, you will be numerate and well organised, able to analyse and interpret site investigation data and enjoy seeking solutions to technical challenges. Demonstrable experience of report writing and GQRA as well as a valid UK driving licence are also required.
Development within the role would be expected and could be achieved through increased technical expertise, project management, client management and/or staff management responsibilities.
