Senior Consultant – Environmental and Health Risks

The candidate will interact with a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for conducting projects on topics related to environmental and health risks, management of hazardous substances, natural resource management, and sustainable development. The projects could be of varied nature such as reviews of scientific research, development of methodologies, policy assessment, and environmental/health strategy.

The post has multiple dimensions: development of commercial offers, management of a team, project management, scientific analysis, and training. Depending on the aptitude of the candidate, there will also be opportunities to develop new axes of activities.

-          Graduate from a top-flight school or university with a Masters Degree and/or a PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering or toxicology, with significant experience in conducting technical and scientific projects, ideally in the field of environmental or health arena.

-          Strong interest in environmental and health risks; knowledge of risk assessment methodologies would be a plus

-          Demonstrated experience in project management

-          Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent writing skills (published sample documents will be required to demonstrate the capacity); Knowledge of another European/International language would be a plus

-          Flexible, independent, open-minded, and proactive person, at ease with working in an international and multicultural environment

-          Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software; Knowledge of risk/hazard assessment software and/or GIS would be a plus.
