Introduction

Join a growing team of specialist staff to devise and deliver coastal civil engineering commissions. You’ll provide technical support/leadership to project teams delivering coastal schemes and also coastal related input to a wide range of maritime schemes

Important

You will be a Chartered Engineer with considerable experience in the delivery of coastal projects.

The Job

The role provides fantastic opportunities for professional development for a chartered engineer to work with our highly experienced team.

Working directly with our technical director and principal engineer, you will provide leadership and support to junior staff undertaking a wide range of schemes across the project cycle principally within our Coastal sector.

About You:
- You will be Chartered Engineer with considerable experience in the delivery of coastal projects.

  • Your background will be broad and encompass a wide range of coastal work from strategic studies and SMPs to the design of hard and soft defence systems and analysis of metocean conditions.

  • You will have a detailed knowledge of the UK coastal industry and relevant UK design codes, Eurocodes and specifications. You will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A preference will be given to candidates who are also able to programme common numerical modelling software, such as MIKE21.
