Senior CDM Business Development Manager, Beiing, China. $90k-$110k + Bonus

My client is a leading provider of carbon credit services with a focus on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). They are looking to recruit a senior business development manager to develop their business in South East Asia.

Responsibilities:-

• Oversee investments for large scale projects to produce carbon credits under
• Portfolio management to identify the qualified business entity, business analysis and project risk management, contract negotiation, internal and external approval process handing.
• Financing and project/assert management
• Originating and aggregating projects
• Testing applicability from existing methodologies, evaluating CER potential
• Leading due diligence
• Leading commercial negotiation, including formation of joint venture, service agreement, CER purchasing agreement
• Supervising CDM development process, including stakeholders meetings, PDD drafting, NDRC’s LOA, DOE’s validation, EB registration, DOE’s verification and issuance of CER
• Bridging financial gap for the project owners

Requirements:-

• Masters degree (MSc or related degree)
• Experience working on CDM projects
• It competent
• Very good understanding carbon market and CDM worldwide
• At least 4 years experience in CDM
• Must speak fluent Mandarin
