Job Title: Senior Campaign Representative, Beyond Coal

Department: Conservation

Location: New York, NY

Reports to: Regional Campaign Director, Northeast Region

Context: Plans, directs, and manages the strategies, implementation, and activities of the Beyond Coal campaign at the state level in New York.

Scope: The Senior Campaign Representative is responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of the Beyond Coal campaign’s strategies and activities in New York. Collaborates with and coordinates the campaign’s activities with the state Chapter(s), volunteers, and appropriate staffing resources. Develops strategies, creates state level work plans, establishes priorities and benchmarks, provides leadership, evaluates campaign effectiveness, and manages and monitors campaign resources and expenses. Represents the Sierra Club to government officials, the media, business and community leaders, allies and other organizations, and the public. Participates in program fundraising activities.
