ICF Jones & Stokes provides an array of integrated services in environmental planning and natural resource management, especially in the transportation, water, energy, and natural resources sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the senior technical (biological) lead on complex projects
- Acting as Project Manager or Project Director on large, complex jobs that focus primarilly on biological issues
- Consulting with clients on overall permitting and environmental compliance strategies
- Directing/supporting business development activities such as proposal preparation, interview participation, and strategic planning
- Implement QA/QC standards
- Seek out new work with existing and new clients
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in wildlife biology, environmental science, or related field
- At least 10-15 years of experience in environmental consulting field
- Thorough working knowledge of ESA, CESA, CEQA, NEPA, and related environemtnal laws and regulations
- Experience managing staff, budgets, and timelines
- Stong business development skills
- Strong organizational and writing skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information and approaches to project managers, clients, and non-technical staff
