Senior Biologist

Sequence is currently seeking a Senior Biologist / Technical Project Manager who will have direct the direct responsibility of providing technical direction to a variety of environmental compliance projects throughout Northern California.

Candidates should have at a minimum 5+ years experience working as a project manager overseeing the development of the natural resources and biological CEQA/NEPA Compliance documentation. This would include providing project management and technical guidance in conducting field surveys, collection of data, documentation assembly, technical writing, and development of the overall biological documentation. Additional responsibilities will include developing budgets, schedules and scopes of work, training and client relations.

Must have previous experience and expertise in CEQA/NEPA compliance regulations, environmental permitting (section 401 & 404), conducting wetland delineations, biological assessments, habitat assessments, permitting, restoration plans and vegetation surveys.

Requires a degree in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources or related discipline. Exceptional project management, staff mentoring and written/verbal communication abilities desired. Candidates must have strong understanding of endangered species throughout the southwest.
