Senior Berater (m/w) – Energieeffizienz / Regionale Energieprogramme

The Department of Regulatory Affairs and Consulting (RAC) at First Climate advises companies, associations and government agencies in the areas of climate policy, market mechanisms, capacity building, climate change and emissions trading. Institutions on regulatory developments in the areas of climate and energy, such as the revision of the Swiss CO2 Act, affected directly or indirectly, our department provides appropriate analysis and proactive solutions to ensure long-term competitiveness and compliance.

Their tasks

As an employee of the Department and RAC based on their existing network and their personal track record, they will advance our Swiss activities in the field of energy efficiency and climate protection for the public and private sectors.

In the areas of energy efficiency, energy saving measures and in areas that result from the new Swiss CO2 law, they identify with customer service needs. You have the ability to independently and together as a team to develop a portfolio of consulting assignments. You are interested in structuring larger service mandates and thereby combine their technical expertise with ours.

Their duties require the following skills:

• Passion for new business : Based on the ever-changing regulatory environment and the challenges it poses to our customers they will find new opportunities for consulting services.
• Sales Talent: Based on its experience selling consulting services to public and private institutions, they will attract new customers.
• Elan to approach something new : Together with the team, they develop new, innovative solutions to the challenges of our customers and provide the necessary consulting services such as: analytical reports, studies, workshops, technical and strategic consulting.

Your profile

You have a degree in engineering sciences, natural sciences, economics, finance or other relevant field with at least 6 years professional experience in the field of energy or engineering, including at least 3 years experience as a consultant for major projects in energy efficiency for energy companies, industry or for the public administration.

You are communicative, team player and have negotiating skills. Her mother tongue is German, fluent English speaking them. Ideally, they also speak French.
