Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in wildlife biology or closely related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting field.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience working with California fauna.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Master's Degree in wildlife biology or closely related field.
- We are very interested in candidates with solid avian experience, but will consider experience in other technical specialty areas such as invertebrates, amphibians/retiles, or small mammals.
- Working knowledge of ESA, CESA, CEQA, NEPA, and related environmental laws and regulations.
- Experience managing staff, budgets, and timelines.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information and approaches to project managers, clients, and non-technical staff.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
