Senior Auditor/ Technical Reviewer

A fast growing Project Developer is seeking a Technical Reviewer to compliment its reputable Climate Change department to assist in the validation/verification of GHG projects covering Kyoto CDM projects, Emissions Trading and ISO 14064.

The successful candidate will have:

• Detailed knowledge of at least one CDM Technical Scope.  Applicants with at least 3 years direct experience in a specific industrial sector such as metals, oil and gas, mining, or chemicals are particularly welcomed.
• Demonstrable understanding of GHG validation / verification services
• Solid understanding of the Kyoto Protocol's flexible mechanisms including experience in CDM/JI and the Validation / verification stage of these processes
• Knowledge of other GHG programs (eg VCS, Gold Standard) is welcomed
• Ability to take a technical lead for developing and managing services linked to GHG
• Experience in auditing CDM projects at both validation and verification stages
• Ability to interact with also influence regulators / accreditors in conjunction of the firms approach as a provider of a valued service to clients
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
• Articulate, well spoken, strong communications skills including presentation
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• The willingness to travel overseas frequently in line with the demands of the role.
• Fluency in English
