Position Summary: The Senior Associate will contribute to the implementation of a Rainforest Alliance-wide monitoring initiative to track the attributes and effects of sustainability standards, certification, and associated technical assistance projects applied on more than 55 million hectares of land in the agriculture, forestry, and tourism sectors, and in the area of climate change mitigation. S/he will support all aspects of this initiative, including the development of data collection tools and systems; training field staff in monitoring methods; data analysis; and technical writing and presentations to share monitoring results internally and externally. S/he will also contribute to selected research initiatives, in collaboration with external research partners. As an integral part of Rainforest Alliance’s Evaluation & Research team, the Senior Associate will contribute to the team’s overall objectives of implementing robust monitoring and evaluation methods, training, knowledge sharing, and learning throughout the organization.
