EER's solar energy practice is well established and is growing rapidly. To meet the strategy and information needs of our growing client base we are looking for an experienced, driven professional to join our successful, entrepreneurial team.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst will play a leading role in EER's solar energy advisory practice with responsibilities for driving research and analysis of PV supply chain trends, PV technology trends, and the global PV manufacturing landscape. In addition, the person will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with advisory clients, including executives in manufacturers, utilities, IPPs, solar project developers, financial and technology companies. The Senior Analyst will be expected to:

  • Ensure steady level of output of advisory stream deliverables including written deliverables, forecasting models, and one-on-one Q&A
  • Build and maintain global PV supply databases, production capacities, utilization, and supply agreements
  • Initiate, write and produce regular executive briefings, PowerPoint presentations and market forecasts
  • Contributing to and leading in-depth market studies
  • Support the research demands of EER’s renewable advisory groups
  • Demonstrate to clients and team members a knowledge and expertise in the analysis of solar energy, PV technology, and overall electricity markets
  • Develop and maintain a strong level of understanding of the regulatory, technology and competitive landscape of the solar industry and its supply chain
  • Interact with clients on a continuous basis to provide market research, competitive analysis, and strategy support
  • Support Sales and Marketing with client and prospect meetings.
  • Maintain industry profile through speaking opportunities and other participation in industry forums

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record a minimum of three years experience specifically in the solar industry or supply chain.

The position requires solid analytical and quantitative skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience with telephone and internet-based research. As part of the global solar advisory group, the Senior Analyst must be able to work in a team environment, and to lead or contribute to collaborative projects.

An MBA or equivalent Masters Degree is required. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Multi-lingual capabilities preferred.
